thanks for the link but that could be one of the worst *articles* i've ever read.

from the initial "But, in reality, and in my opinion," comment

to the complete lack of a conclusion which is exactly the title.

with fluff in the middle like

So what’s your point you might be asking, tell me some shit I don’t already know! I don’t have the answer as to how to combat the tubes, the piracy they bring, but I do have a suggestion. We all need to get off of our asses and get to work. Too many of us have been sitting back counting the money as it rolled in, and guess what, that time is over.

wtf does that mean? i know the implication is get back to basics, do what the author says we used to do. but he already stated times have changed, it all the shit he talks about.
so what's back to basics about that?

He said to do more creative, quality work that a mindless drone with a script and spoonfed sponsor content/feeds can't do so you stand out from the pack.

yah, i read that. you didn't find that fluff?

                  here's where it is-

Ultimately, create a site that is original, has something that involves the surfer and the results will be far different than a bulk loaded TGP or RSS fed blog.

where is the real value in any of that? seriously. i read a comment like that every day on an adult message board somewhere.

for me, that article was a wordy introduction that needed to be condensed into an opening paragraph. the whole thing had me expecting some real world suggestions instead of some motivational poster comments like get back to work. or create something original.

                  just sayin. :-)
