    Making Own Content Profitable?

If i hire my own female video performers and sell all my own content in HD quality video and I spend $350-$800 per girl and scene can I make a return on my investment?

If you have to ask us, it means you don't know how to make, much less maximize, your profits in such an endeavor and you'll wind up bleeding money like , well, I can't think of a good metaphor.
        Real bad.

Can you, yeah sure. Will you? Who knows. Depends largely on how good your content is and how good of a businessman you are. The results can vary from losing your shirt to becoming the most popular producer or web site on the net and making millions.

Is there an online course or ebook that shows you the steps needed to market and sale your content?

Um not that I am aware of. I could write up one and sell it to you for a large sum though

There's got to be more money in creating the content and selling it to the 100,000's of porn sites on the net. Plus you can sell them on xtube and other like sites.

I figure if pornographers are paying some performers over $1000 per scene you know they are making some serious money somewhere.

I think it would be much easier to make and sell your own content rather than building and promoting another porn site.

Most of the people paying that are either (1) doing extreme, (2) getting absolute top babe talent doing very explicit work, and/or (3) old school mainstream adult video companies with old school distribution channels which may be closed to new product.

There is more to it than selling it to other sites, though good luck getting even a few to buy it. There is VOD, PPV, DVD, blah blah.

Yup people were paying people 1000.00 or more per scene plus fee's for director/camera man etc. Drop figures of around 8-15k+ per DVD even. Then hope to sell enough units to profit on that, so if you moved say 3000 units or more you could be doing ok. Though shit has changed much since then.

Again yes there are though you better do your research as some may have not the best histories. Also may want to learn about filing copyrights, the legalities, requirements, record keeping and such.
