Eagles do that. There was a video of one grabbing a Calf got it about 15 feet into the air, and dropped it. Calf got up and ran away bird kept going.

i figure birds are delicate creatures, they weigh like nothing for their size, you wouldnt want to risk something like a deer landing on top of you, fucking up one of your wings or something
