    Search Engine question...

I recently had some pretty good ranks for some keywords I was workin' for, but all the sudden I'm WAY low if in there at all. Can anyone tell me what happened & how to get back up there without being accused of spamming?

Someone else came up with a better sequence of or better keywords in their meta tags. Time for you to change yours and keep experimenting with that until you regain a higher ranking. Thats just part of the SE game. You can never stay on top forever. So every now and again the game starts all over again.

Okay, but how often can I resubmit my my URL w/o being accused of spamming? I haven't resubmitted for quite some time, but each one of my pages is different all around...

The search engine rules, changed about 3 months ago, and have been gradually reflected as the listings cycle and are updated sites are respidered etc etc

The best advice anyone can give you is to state, that you are ranked by the quality of the links to your site and what they "say" about you

If you can figure out what that means, then you are well on your way to getting traffic back to your site

As far as I know google, yahoo and a plethora of other sites are still laying off people and losing money (aol springs to mind 1700 layoffs)

Expect more changes to the way s/e's rank and list your pages

Same thing happened with me I went from #1 to 5 in alot of search terms . I'm pretty sure it's because they changed the way they ranked I also went from # 20 to # 7 in a few search terms as long as it shows up in the top 20 it's all good
