Is anyone familiar with a company that handles basic marketing services like handling link exchanges, or promoting a site on forums, blogs, etc.. without doing any kind of black hat marketing? Looking for something in a service involving someone actually requesting beneficial link trades and basic promotion.

I understand your need. I think at the first your training shall be needed, in the therm of showing how to get market in that way. In a second moment however, the company that have real marketing skills (and that is not an outsource company, u believe me), will start bringing marketing intelligence for the thing, making the basic services, and evolving it to more powerful actions.
As long I detected that this niche is not explored properly in the adult business, and I'm really interested in developing such expertise. BTW, not just owner of a design/advertising company, I'm graduated in marketing. If you are interested in tear something, please, hit me up. I think we can come with something real consistent for both sides.
