    Need some ICQ help...

    Seems like their support sucks. Decided to post here. Maybe someone here knows how to cure this problem. I open icq and when someone has left me a message ICQ aborts because it is almost impossible to open the message before ICQ takes a fit! The error message is "icq library has encountered a problem and needs to close"

    Has anyone experienced this shit with ICQ?

      Sounds like you need to reinstall. Think I had this same issue last year. Was a real PITA.

          Hi Baddog,

          I did reinstall it but same thing. Maybe a complete new install

              that happens on occasion with me as well.. pretty new problem but i still use 2003b so that doesn't make sense to me why it would start doing this after all the years of it being fine.

              i just do a reboot and it seems to work fine after that...

                  Reinstall, didnt work, but I guess reboot, and reinstall cured it. Thanks Guys.
