Paysite CMS?

Anyone have any suggestions for a decent (affordable) paysite CMS? By affordable I mean, the awesome software put out by toomuch (carma) while being fucking awesome, and I love it, it's slightly outta my price range atm.

Anyone know any cheaper alternatives, that can do some of the same basic features? I.e. template driven members area, latest update module, next week's update module - blah blah

thanks in advance! and refcodes (if they exist for this sorta thing:P) are welcome


EDIT: if possible, owning it outright so I don't need to buy it again for each paysite would be nice thank you!

There's a few other options as far as CMS goes... paying a rent for a CMS sort of sucks really, I'd rather just buy it outright but 3,500 is a bit steep if you have no members yet... so I see where he's coming from.

That would be MAS, by Mansion. I use it with a few sponsors, and it can hold it's own.

Smarty is a standard: ThePaysiteCMS, Carma, Apex (+ most major mainstream cms are compatible with smarty...)
That being said, maybe you should think of using it because your demo site is slow as hell

a cms these days
should auto convert videos

a product/development company these days
should not have a site looking so 1998...


Joke aside, even if i don't think doing all the transcoding/conversions server-side is a very good idea, our cms is able to do it too.

Let's end with a friendly advice, you should lower your prices... your are more expensive than all other cms (renting) solutions on the market
