I think you have setup to automatic answer YES on a active-x question.
This will start the dialer and when it starts, it puts some icons on your computer.

Hehe, no pop-up hell for me on that one, just said no when it asked to run the script. Ill admit its annoying having to click yes all the time but I never "work" without changing my security settings to make it prompt me whenever scripts try to run. The first time I avoid a pop-up/download hell it makes every one of them worth it.
