    i never really worried about leechers on some of my domains because they really never had anything someone would want to leech
    well i forgot to turn on hotlink protection i guess on one site that some chineese hotlinkers found

    look at this crap

    Bandwidth transfered this month 1592.67GB (As of Friday July 18th 2008 05:19:53 AM)
    Bandwidth transfered last month 116.66GB


    i was wondering why my sig was loading so slow and support didnt figure it out so i did my own work today and found the problem ... hot linkers

    so i hit up my rep


    this is no way an attack on the hosting company i use ..just frustrates the fuck out of me and im using gfy to vent

    the support guy yesterday said the server was fine and moving fast and it was then but now it is back to crawl and i see why now

    yea if you just got hot linked like that that will definitely bring your sites to a crawl
