    Question for Kindle users

    If you buy the Kindle version of the book, can you also read on the computer?

    Not that I'm aware of. AFAIK it's a file that only a Kindle can read. Here's a message board for Kindle users - the answer may be there:

        I've been looking at those things for the last 3 or 4 months. I've actually clicked on the buy button, then changed my mind at the last minute.

        I can't decide if I would like it, or not. I'm afraid I'd miss the feel of a book. Turning the pages, handling them, etc.

        I love my books. It sort of makes me feel like a traitor to give them up for yet another electronic device.

          I absolutely LOVE mine. I can't imagine not having it any more. I love my books too and since not everything is on Kindle yet, I still read those. Plus I'm not taking a $350 electronic to the beach or pool. But overall, it comes in close after the microwave and TiVo of electronics I don't ever want to be without

            I don't miss the feel of paper at all. In fact, I like the Kindle better.
