HELP!!!!$1000 waisted

Hi guys, how are you?Well I am a little disappointed here.I opened my first site 2 weeks ago, not knowing anything about this business.I didn't know, and still don't know, how to get traffic to my site, so I put up some galleries on absolut-series.com
I spent a $1000 and my conversions are ridiculous.I got 4 sign ups out of it!!!I thought my site was horrible, so after looking around others I don't think my site is that ugly.The only problem is my WMP videos, too dark, but the quick time look good.The design looks ok.I don't understand.I didn't find webmasters to join my affiliate program, the 1 who did after 1 day and only 800 hits sent with no conversion tokk me off!I put a lot into this project and now I start loosing hope.I don't ask 10 sign ups a day, just one would make my day.I want to ask you what I should do.Do I have no hope?HOW do I get quality traffic?Please I need your support....http://www.carribeanpussy.com

For a starters you still haven't optimized your images.. on that splash page the left hand graphic should be 34k not 59k.. Making your site load almost twice as slow as it should won't help signups.

For a Real Starter..... Not all Buisness Make Money within the first 6 months of them being open. Alot of Sites dont take off within the first month being open ...

To make it Big it takes alot of hard work Dedication and money in most cases some people just get lucky too

Now that you have a basic template of what your wanting to do... hire a designer for $200-$300 or so to redesign what you've got there.

Also it's been said before. Most people hitting the site will checkout the vids before getting plastic out. The majority will click on the WMV file. Nobody seeing that movie will pay to join as it's truly awful. If you have no good sample then don't use any samples. Crap can only do more harm than good.

that big ass block of text you have on the tour is not very reader friendly..... it just made me want to scroll faster to get away from it..... put a line break or something in there.....

I think is true.I am just going to take WMV off for now untill I remake them in a nicer quality.Is that bad to have only quick time?

Agreed. The content and storyline to build a good converting site is definitely there, but it needs to be presented better.

GET RID of the popups when they first join, spice it up more, if this is real exclusive shit, then don't make the site cookie cutter style, drop the fancy graphics use tables, TONS of text make it personal you will see a big difference. BUT I had people like localG bfv tell me this almost 2 years ago and didnt listen then 4 months ago I listened I now have 200+ webmasters promoting me with about 80 active and signups are great *shrugs* it takes time play around with it, get rid of the traffic leaks

It's one big image too. I'd slice that up and dump the graphic text in that area and use real html text in a table or something. That one image alone is over 90k!

Id also scratch the first page & move the logo on top of the second page and then slice and optimize everything using gifs for the text slices and jpg for the picture slices. As it is now your second page is almost 400k.

Not all Business Make Money within the first 6 months of them being open. Alot of Sites dont take off within the first month being open ...

Thats so true we were free for the first year, thats where we learned about traffic and buidling a following. Once we went pay it took a year and 3 months before I was able to quit my day job. Also to do a site that is not based around one person is hard to get members. You have to have years of experience or really deep pockets to get it off the ground. Also the days of easy money on the net gone lol.

As a heart attack. If you can get 4 signups in 2 weeks not knowing what you are doing there are good webmasters that could get many, many more. Take their advice concerning your site, and you might get some of them to test it out.

Oh yea, don't listen to all the shit talkers. I always jump into stuff head first and learn as I go. Been perfectly fine up until now but if you ask them they'll tell you theres no way I made a profit on anything I wasn't familiar with. My ass. first think I did was click on INTRO. I quickly did so as a lot of surfers may. I had no idea I had to scrolll down... When I clicked on intro it open to a video page. The video would be best playing on the same page or at least if your going to have it play in it's own window make sure it opens in a NEW window. After I watched about 10 secs I closed it and said fuck it because I couldn't get back to your site. Yeah,,, i know I could have hit back but I was lazy.

Please..start with a free site and go from there.
