          asp.net or php. Oh, those aren't in the choice list.

          Depends what you want to do with it. Anything dynamic is favourable these days. With html for example, if you had a 1000 page site with adverts throughout, and you wanted to change some of them, how are you going to do that? Pain in the ass.
