Anyone using one of these free cms systems for a small paysite backend?n If so, are you happy?

Joomla eats a lot of CPU and memory with the constant DB calls and excessive module oriented code.
I would aim for light fast and obsure in the way of a backend during these times -
I am a designer and the coder. I have worked with both and personally found both away much more complicated then Wordpress cms. With wordpress in most of the cases you can achieve the same result but its much more optimized and stable to work with. Plus you get the best blogging solution in the world for free

you would be better off using something like Modx CMS because it's more of a frame work so it doesn't have all the BS you don't need. Not so sure how good of an idea it is to use a open source CMS for a paysite though.
