From my experience as a mod on another popular forum (non adult related) censoring people to protect advertisers actually hurts the advertiser even more.

Now people dont only hate them for what initially caused the drama - they now also feel that theyve been censored by them, building even more resentment.

I hope not. I mean it's what, a $2500 banner ad? If Playboy is desperate to keep that, I'd imagine this industry is hurting much more than people lead on. I would imagine it's more about friends helping out their friends than the money.

That's actually why I pulled my links. To try and erase what you did is worse than just having a negative thread out there. If they stood by their decision, they'd have not had the thread removed. I consider having it removed an admission of guilt.

The thread deletion reminds me why I rarely bother with GFY anymore. It really isn't a board for 'business' these days and sadly hasn't been for some time. I hope they enjoy al the surfer traffic :/

Lol, i was looking for the thread, and see it got erased. 20 pages, all gone. Well, at least you can see VS does care. They most likelly thought it would stop at page 5, then page 10, when it past page 15, they started to think of damage control, and finally dished out for the thread deletion.
