    word press problem

ok I have a few word presses set up on a few domains.

on one particular domain/install, when I am editing or writing posts and I click save, or post, whatever, it takes sooooo long to process. It gets there in the end (about 90 seconds) but all my others click in pretty much instantly.

anyone know what this could be? it's a right pain in the ass when I want to make quick changes to anything on there...

thing is, other blogs on the same box work just fine, editing is snappy, works almost instantly, it's just this one blog....

again, i have exactly the same amount of pings as on a few other blogs, that are all on the same box, and all working flawlessly.

The problem you are experiencing is because of your use of "permalinks". The actual problem arises when wordpress tries writing to the .htaccess file which contains more than a certain amount of existing lines. They've been trying to limit its consumption but to no avail. There are no fixes for it other than not using it.
