Does webmaster traffic really exist?

I was looking for webmaster traffic resources and noticed that to get webmaster traffic, you basicly have to pay for it. I am looking for that kind of traffic but there must be ways of getting it without paying for it. Maybe trying to contact webmaster resources sites or something. Who here has tried to purchase it?

If you do pay for it, target it nicely. Do you want AVS webmasters? There are several AVSes that advertise to their members in the area where they check stats/add sites. How about TGP webmasters? Get the approval page to redirect to your website, etc.

You can get webmaster traffic by getting listed at adult webmaster resource sites. Most of them are free, but if you build up your trades, you can get banners going at some of them. Word of mouth is the absolute best though. Buttons on webmaster boards are a good thing generally too, even if not for clicks, for branding.

Webmaster traffic is readily available unfortunately however, unlike the surfer side traffic the cost of webmaster traffic IS higher because in the long run you make much more $$$ from it.

That said, you can (as has already been mentioned) get free listings on resource sites which in itself will not yield you high amounts of traffic instantly but, will assist you in getting your product or service 'branded'.

There are some traffic brokers for example http://www.trafficdude.com who we use to broker our webmaster resource advertising that may be able to offer you some assistance when purchasing advertising space.

word of mouth is best and link trades help and search engine traffic is also good, but to begin with, you got to have what people want or need, basically it has to have value.

Traffic is hard to get and no matter what I try it never seems to get any better, it goes up and down, but no way near what I need. But I'll keep trucking and preying, so good luck to you

Getting Webmaster traffic is like getting laid, if it looks good you dont have to pay for it

and an occasional One Time Program Announcement.....it takes a

The thing about content lotto is you are getting lots of hits, but it is from "webmasters" who spend their time playing on contentlotto. This isn't necessarily a terrible thing, but it just means you are getting hits mostly from newbie / moonlighting webmasters.

now that is some funny shit. We won't disclose who our members are, but I can assure you that we have people sign up that surprise even us. and they play all their credits every day, and use their free ad credits they get for doing so to advertise their sites on CL.
