    Failed Projects

What are some projects you made that have failed over the years, but you assumed would kick ass and take off?

Why did it fail? Seems like a good idea...

I had an idea long ago for my domain lapquest.com to be a stripper directory and photo/video galleries from stripclubs across the US.

I started TwoMobile.com on a $250,000 vc investment in 1997 or 1998 I believe , I would have been 17 or 18 years old.. Within a few months the internet had its first big "crash" on the stock market, and nobody would do deals with websites at the time.. We were so close to landing a deal with the people who publish Garfield and Dear Abby, to have a nationally syndicated column.. Then poof, the sentiment changed.

I took the rest of the money and gave it back to the investors, when I realized it was going to just be slowly wasted.

Fuck it coulda been 99 even.. I don't remember shit
