AVN & CES Exact same dates ????

The AVN Awards show will be Saturday January 10, 2009

CES falls on the exact dates so book early, the hotel will definitely sell out.

Internext – January 12 – 14, 2009 Palms Hotel
Seminars & Welcome Party Monday January 12th
Exhibits Tuesday & Wednesday January 13th & 14th
Farwell Party Wednesday January 14th

Yes Ram I have the answer... AVN makes a killing off CES people who are fans and want to pay the admission to go to the AVN show to see all the pornstars.

So the simple answer is that having the show at the same time as CES is just good Business.

The AVN show I can understand selling to the general public, but Internext?

As a matter a fact AVN used to be part of it I think. Starting with a small corner on the convention floor and growing fast. And now a stand alone expo.. although I feel it is less visited by people to do real business with.

Its allways been on at the same time as CES... (I think) I went in 2000 2001 and 2002 and they were both on together... Internext was the week before...

Eric is correct.

CES ends on the 10th - so people looking forward to Internext at the Palms again can rest assured that the room rates will be kept low.

I do advise to book your Internext rooms early though, as we sold out almost the entire hotel with our group last year. Dont get stuck across the street.

Expect more of the same business focused show floor, packed seminars, multiple parties happening simultaneously and much more. We will also be working out the few kinks we had this years Vegas show.

We havent even closed the Miami show but I am looking forward to Vegas - Internext Vegas.

The first day of AEE is trade only and a majority of that is explaining to the CES people what you do.

I remember those days well.

The first time I went to the show was in 1994 and it was in an upstairs ballroom at the Sands.

It was very fun back them, there were bars all over the floor, the girls would flash, ahhhh to be a young lad again.

Went to a few in the Mid 90's as a CES/COMDEX surfer. I was always amazed at the lineup of Chinamen trying to be included in the yearly gang bang record setting attempt.

Internext will never be on the same days as CES or AVN again. I am sure Chris, Monty or anyone at AVN can confirm that.
