We have that by default on all our virtuals ( as well as when we provision a dedicated ).
python -V : Python 2.4.3
As for sitedepth, I have no problem with that on a virtual . Our virtual comes with SSH jailed as well as Cpanel/Fantastico.

Yes, we will install Python. No big deal.
We will allow you to install it if you buy it. But I would think it would be more appropriate for a dedicated server. http://www.sitedepth.com/buy.phpComment

Already bought, was told by my host that it would be okay but it isn't largely due to a lack of ImageMagick on that account level. I am happy with them for everything else so I don't want to move everything but considering an additional account for this small project somewhere else.Yes, we will install Python. No big deal.

We would be happy to install python on a virtual package for you at Phatservers. Please get in touch with me by ICQ (421864528) or email ([email protected]), and we can work something out for you.Comment

So, they won't install it, or won't allow it to be installed? It shouldn't be anything more than installing a blog or joomla. So, we would allow you to install it, and would assist if required.Already bought, was told by my host that it would be okay but it isn't largely due to a lack of ImageMagick on that account level. Installed it and it just wouldn't work..it kept dying every time I tried to upload a single gallery. The sitedepth guys have been very helpful but when I went and talked to my host and gave them the requirements that was the answer..that imagemagick was available on my account level. Blogs run fine, I only have about 60 of them there
