Basically he wanted someone to build a software application that would interact with an illegal Satellite Card Writer.

The only thing you have to go on is the source code for the CHIP inside the Writer.

Why would you want to write software that already exists? Extreme HU, quite a few others.. Unless you're talking about some other application.

The only thing to go on was the source code from some atmel chip in the hardware unit.
