    Talking Spam

Anybody getting talking spam? Two mainstream ones today so far, embedded Flash movies with sound. One was for some kind of crock pot, think the other for some kind of hair styling gadget.

the Internet is just turning into one big smelly dollar store.

It's good though, it makes us look good by comparison.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Email should work the way ICQ works..

each person must get permission to add the other to their address book.

By simply checking the "don't accept messages from people not on your contact list" I never get any ICQ spam anymore.

Sure it's a pain in the ass, but so is spam.

Use Kazaa lite. Just as much pirating, without the ads.

What would the conversion ratio on something that fucking stupid be? 1 in 10 million?

They request permission to be added. If I don't know who it is or I'm not expecting anyone to add me, I just decline it and delete the contact.

There's some kind of mail service that offers a permission feature I can't think of it at the moment. People hate it, but I bet the people who use that service don't get much spam!
