i'm talking about microsoft, not the picture..

just the way people make fun of them is like, "they might be rich but they are geeks, so it sucks to be them"..

i'm a software engineer too, getting my degree in a few months. i just don't like the way people think about us. who knows maybe i'm gonna work for microsoft in the future or own a big company myself, and i don't think i want this to make me look more like a geek and a loser.

Each and every one of us - at least those of us making money in this industry - should thank God for Bill Gates and Microsoft every day of our lives. Say what you want about Microsoft and Windows, but it was them who brought computers to the masses, and thus allow us to produce porn.... And make tons of money.

Who says Microsoft brought computers to the masses? I would say that honor goes to Apple for the Apple II and the Macintosh, and IBM for the PS/2. Just because MS sells the most doesn't mean they actually started it all. If it hadn't been them who profitted the most, it would have been someone else.
