    Outlook/GMail help requested.

Does anyone have their mail forwarded to your gmail and then download it from gmail's pop3 option into outlook?

I'm wondering if I can send email from outlook through google with the original email address as you could if you log into the gmail.com

I just leave it all in gmail.

Yes you can. I have a handful of emails set up that way. If you send it from outlook it will go through gmail.

I have it set up, but I want to set it up in outlook so if an email is sent to [email protected] it will go out as being from [email protected] instead of [email protected]

          Does this make sense?

I think I know what you mean. If an email sent to [email protected] it will be returned from [email protected] unless you swith to your gmail account under 'accounts'. If they send it to your gmail account then they will get a reply from your gmail account...unless of course you switch to your [email protected] account. This is getting confusing...lol. I hope that helps. The best thing to do is set up the pop and do some test sends to other accounts you have. Don't forget to enable pop in gmail too. I've forgotten that before and almost killed myself trying to figure out why the damn thing wouldn't work...lol.

My outlook did that for me auto. Yours should too.
