    Mass emailing software

I have around 500k members, the current in house software we are using is not very effective, most of the emails go into bulk, can anyone recommend a good software we can use to send out announcements to our members?

    Thank you in advance.

you obviously know nothing about sending mail out to a massive # of members Judge

yes it "should not" but they do....overzealous anti-spam idiots have made it nearly impossible to run a legitimate business

to answer your question lev.....the biggest companies out there (dating/cams & otherwise) all have problems hitting the inbox for legitimate double opt-in mails

changing domains is one solution, but only temporary....i suggest you hire a consultant at the very least

or pay the big bucks & hire a e-mail solution company

at the very least with a consultant you will get into gmail etc. but if you want to hit them all yahoo/gmail/operamail/aol literally everything....hiring a big e-mail solution company that has a good reputation is pretty much your only option (in order to do it legally)

its fucking sad....but sending out your member e-mails is going to be very expensive if you want it done correctly....when you run an adult site

There are a variety of reasons why you are having deliverability issues.

            a) the content - is it triggering Spam Assassin due to: 1) the language in the email 2) too much 'graphics' vs 'text', etc etc

            b) the IP you send from could be blacklisted

            c) you are sending the emails too quickly and the ISPs are blocking you

There are consultants that could help make sure you are following best practises, but really you need to look at a Email Service Provider to get into people's inboxes.

If you are going to Webmaster Access East, hit me up and I can talk you through my solution.
