God damn, watched that last night - I haven't seen a film that powerful in a while. Film from 2006, but hadn't seen it before. Couple of leading roles from Bratt Pitt and Cate Blanchett, but they really didn't make the film.
With that kind of story line, it was always gonna be a powerful film, but is it also so powerful and heart-wrenching for you non-parents out there? I mean, when the nanny left the kids in the desert to find help, I honestly nearly puked it disturbed me that much.
And by the way, that fucking bullshit attitude from US border patrols - I've personally received that and *THAT* is why it fucking stinks - I know these guys have a hard job, but that bullshit "I'm gonna fuck you over" attitude... grrrrrrrr
