I remember ipv6 being "experimental" in 1996, and nothing much seems to have changed today. Cutting over reliably within 4 1/2 years is not going to happen.

I bet unauthorised use of abandoned IP blocks will increase as "legitimate" IP space becomes harder to get. A couple of years ago I noticed someone was routing the C class of a former client who had closed down. The block is still in my name (has been for 10+ years), I certainly didn't authorise anyone to use it...
