I use the privacy thingy in all of my domains, even mainstream.........don't think that's much of a problem unless you are seriously spamming google......in which case banning all of your sites is as easy as getting the whois records matching your info......anyways ...that's my opinion.....

It means, its easier to get anyone banned from Google by just making same whois info as his and seriously spamming Google.

it is not a matter of "playing by the rules." The host crowding penalty is not targeting people that are not playing by the rules, they are penalizing people with a lot of domains.
While there is no indication that Google is using Whois info today, that does not mean they won't tomorrow. That is why we recommend people use a different nameserver for every Class C, because we anticipate that they will use nameservers before they use names.
Since we can anticipate that Google will eventually use Whois info, I suggest the following for people that want to stay ahead of the game.
Since you never want to give false info, be creative. For example, if your name is William Howard Taft, you can legally use any of the following combinations:
William Howard Taft
William H Taft
W Howard Taft
William Taft
W H Taft
Bill Taft
Will Taft
Bill H Taft
B H Taft
Addresses are a little more difficult. However, if you have a business address and a home address you can use them. I know people that use their parent's address. Just make sure if they move, you update your info.Comment
