I am looking to start learning some basic languages. People I have talked to said to start with VB. Is this a safe place. Another question is, will it help for adult sites or should I just jump in to something harder.

Any tips on books or software tutorials.

You should start with Perl! Perl is also very easy to learn.

This will help you with your adult site A LOT more then VB will...

Just do a search on google for programming in perl. You will find more infomation then any book will every be able to give you.
