    Batch Watermarking?

OK I know by now I should know how to do this, But I still am lost when it comes to WaterMarking whole files of images at a time. I have heard about PhotoShop ?plug-ins? but not sure how that works really of if that?s the best/easiest thing to do. Ya sorry but EASY is big on my list I gotz to much work as it is

What is a low cost solution to this?

How can it work with different image sizes?

Acdsee Pro does it extremely easy with the batch process function. It's about 100 bucks or so but it does just about everything I need to do to my pics.

You don't need a extra plug-in, any recent version Photoshop can do that. You create an action to apply the watermark to one image and then the automate process to apply the action to a whole folder of images.

The photoshop thing you're talking about is called a "droplet" and you need imageready to do it. I'm not cool enough to post links, but google "droplet photoshop watermark" (no quotations). I like it a lot better than some of the watermarking programs out there!

The images have to be the same size unless you want the watermark in various random places all over the images. And you have to sort the images by horizontal and vertical for the same reason and apply a different action to each orientation.

One can create an action and apply it to an entire folder with the automate function without ever making use of droplets which are a fairly recent introduction to Photoshop a couple of version or so ago. Droplets are just a expedited way to use actions repeatedly. One does not have to use ImageReady to use an action either, fyi. I never use droplets or ImageReady to process my images and add watermarks.

Acdsee Pro doesn't care what the aspect or size is. Just set the watermark distance from the top bottom left right whatever and it does it. To easy.
