    Rocket From The Crypt

Just got the new promo cd from RFTC and i must say..

    i´m extremely dissapointed with it.

It´s "Dickies - Dogs from the Hare That Bites Us" all over again.
A band releases an excellent album.. then when you expect
just the same for the next one or even more...

Anyone got the new RTFC cd?

Yes, my brother gets lots of promotional cds from Vagrant
and he sends some of it my way.

      Dashboard Confessional and Alkaline trio
stuff get burned inmediatly after i receive them.

        You're not a big fan of nu-emo?

There is an "investigative report" on Vagrant in one of the previous issues of Punk Planet. It's pretty interesting. I'm pretty sure you get MRR and Punk Planet over there, right?

I still haven't heard that RFTC record. They were amazing years ago, but they sort of faded out for me a while ago.

I saw RFTC about a year ago at a small club that used to exist here in Vegas called The Sanctuary. They absolutely rocked the house. Gotta say one of the better shows I have seen here in Vegas.... I have yet to get the new CD, but I hope it isn't as bad as you say it is!

The Dashboard Confessional kid needs a good beating.

I think that my brother receives Punk Planet at least,
not sure about Maximum Rock N Roll.. we can get those
magazines via suscription only. No one even dares to
            import magazines these days...

You seem to have lost touch with all the porn pushing

Grab a copy of the RTFC "Group Sounds".. kickass record.
When you hear that one and then get ahold of the new
one you will see what i mean.

Just wanted to say that I think RFTC is one of the most underrated bands in recent memory....

                But to each his own

I happen to like the new record, but I agree it wasn't their best.....

Scream Dracula Scream still takes the cake for me

and Milo -- is that you given name, or just an homage?

There is a truckload of underrated bands out there,
and Rocket From The Crypt is one of them.

They still amaze me on how well produced their records are.
"Group Sounds" have one of the slickest recording works
i have ever heard... just perfect..

Milo... actually is half homage/ half semi-given. When the Internet arrived here, the first thing that came up to my mind for my ISP adresse was milo@... and that has been my nickname since then..

When i started in this business... no one could get comfortable with my real name and distorted it... even through all this years..
so everyone just calls me Milo.

Ahh -- I was assuming that the homage may have been to Mr. Aukerman -- one of my fav songwriters (Clean Sheets, Coolidge, and recently "When I Get Old" to name a few)

Anyway -- good to know that there are still people out there who appreciate the bands that tend to get passed over....
