1) MULTIPLE trips to Home Depot?
2) Blood?
3) Swaring?
4) A new toy to make the project easier?
5) Multiple attempts at the project?. (Ive had to start over more than once)
6) Medical attention
7) A call to your buddy the professional contractor?
8) Multiple times of hammer/thumb combination?
9) Wishing you never had this idea in the first place?
10) Cost overruns?

I used to do everything myself, sometimes bringing in friends to help with the plumbing, electrical, etc. But nowadays I just don't have the time nor the patience for it.

For a big reno job it's better (for me anyway) to just call a contractor and get it done pronto rather than me hacking away at it for weeks when I could be doing other more productive things.
