How come I get so much "insert program name" spam mail?

I don't use a third party anti spam filter such as spam arrest and I use to search through the spam marked mails especially for the first time mailers mistakenly marked as spam.

Lately, there is a sponsor program and its new site that seriously rocks my mailbox.

I will be contacting them with the copy of the spam mails so they can deal with it.

It's the right thing to do, don't you think?

I just did a search and it's 7 spam emails in the past 7 days with the name of the site in it.

I have deleted all the shit that's older, but I am sure I keep on receiving them for at least two months.

I get 600-700 spam mails / day + 25-50 real mails, not a chance I would spend time even looking in the spam mails.
I could not live without spamarrest today, it's worth every cent

Well I have started a new mail account that is spam free so far.

So basically I always get the spam shit from the email account I don't use anymore first and then most of the relevant mail comes from my new account, that's the first thing that makes things easier.

Yet I still use to do a quick search and eye check over the spam, basically if someone used my old email adress and got marked as spam.

The thing is, even if these guys would officially allow mailing, there is this thing called can spam act that should be somehow respected...
