    CGI, Paypal, etc...

Not looking to spam any one, but, Im currious about anyone needing perl/cgi work...
I have worked with much e-comm. and other online sales previously, I have also developed a functional automated system to deal with paypal transactions, perl in win32 and unix, sql, etc.
Are these skills that adult webmasters would be interested in?
    Thanks for your time.

Do your scripts for PayPal automatically add the username/password to the password file, or does this have to be done manually?

      Thx!

They are all automated, username, passwords, etc... Using the IPN selling options for subscription management...
Basically if some one signs up for a subscription via paypal, the paypal assigned username and password would be added to a password file and removed if the persons subscription runs out, or if they cancel it... This is all done behind the scenes so that the user really can not cheat you by creating a subscription then automatically cacelling it... If they do, as far as I can tell via paypal, you would still get 1 months (or other period) worth of payment.

Last time I checked, they didn't automate the signup. The surfer had to wait for a username/password to be added manually. Maybe I should check again....

It is true that Paypal offers up a sample Perl script that will add/remove user names from a user list, however for the non-programmers it would be quite the task to make them work with exsisting systems...
Either way if any one is interested, im dont wanna clutter up the forum with an "advertisment" so please email me directly at emo1313ATdopplegangers.com and i will be glad to tell you more about it...
