background: I work as an ems helicopter pilot fulltime and also work on adult sites, I had a good deal at work because I could work on my sites on the computer there when not flying and nobody cared since we are a satellite helicopter located 90 miles from the hospital on our own network. Well my good deal got ruined when I infected our machine with some scumbags stuff. I had to remove all my stuff from the machine and can't put it back on. I didn't get into trouble BUT can't work on my stuff on that machine now. As my wife is a fulltime student needing the computer all the time I am kinda screwed and the solution is a laptop.

I have already ordered a new compaq presario but can't afford the total hit on my budget as I am also raising a family. So for the question:

I have a tgp that I cannot really run with the things the way they are and am thinking of putting it on ebay to help cover some of the cost, but have no clue as to the value. The site is http://rawpost.com the script is itgp so there is no super great value there since it cost 49 dollars and some change. the trade script is cjultra, good script but no great value there either. I had the logo made and have spent hours and hours working on this site. I put it up last month and am making sales on it as is. The site is also indexed on the search engines at this time. sponsor click thrus with my crappy little traffic is anywhere from 100 a day to 2000 a day which a consider good in light of the fact that I have only been getting a couple hundred unique hits a day so far.

And I also have a lottostarter site with it and a store already set up. So my question would be:

1. What would be the minimum value to place on it.

2. at what level would I be ripping somebody off as I refuse to do that also.

Also, another problem I have been having with my predicament is that I have had to run the script over the last few days to catch the cheaters then do a blanket approval, which has been letting in cheaters I am sure. This sucks not being able to work on your stuff properly!!!!!!

And I really do hate the idea of getiting rid of it, but gotta do it I guess

I assume that the lack of response means that the site holds no real value and that you are all being too kind to let me know!!!!

For the record, I am getting the laptop new in the box for 799.00 plus shipping, so I had no predisposition that it would be worth thousands of dollars or anything like that. I was only looking for a legup on the laptop purchase, and I don't want to sell it on ebay or any place else for that matter for more or less than it is worth.

If you are being kind and withholding I appreciate it, but I must admit that it seems a little out of character for GFY members to withhold their opinions on anything!!!LOL

And to think I just killed a site with 8k traffic and UCJ because I thought selling it wouldn't be worth it.

May not be, and I aint saying it is, I am just looking at my options!

My opinion has always been that if you jerk the traffic to high heaven then it aint worth a dime!!!! Just my opinion.

I just plugged in the script 3 or 4 days ago to see what it would do.

Also, I have seen guys put together crap sites and think they are worth a fortune. They don't want to take the time to work a site, just want the buck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

besides that if you were getting 8000 uniques a day then you should have been getting around 2 to 4 sales a day I would think, If not then you were right to either kill the site or rethink what you were doing, 'cause with my little inferior tgp getting around 200 uniques a day I am averaging a sale a day, Just think what it would be doing if it had your traffic!!!!!!!!!!

No it isn't actually, The sale might be a freeezinebucks sale or a 20 dollar trial sale. I was not specific in sale type, nor am I counting dollars with the site as of yet.

Point being that if the site is new and getting around 200 uniques a day and also getting 500 to 2000 sponsor click thrus a day with up to a sale a day, then it is doing just fine for me and at this early stage I am going to look at just that!!!!!!!!!

And yes, thank you, I know that 1 sale a day on my uniques is pretty damn good, when that site gets to 1000, 10000, 20000 uniques a day then it will be a big money generating machine!!!!! And i hope to do it without jerking the surfers to high heaven!!!!

So, you can cut on the site and say that you trashed a 8000 hit a day site if you want, but there must be something right with it to be running at 1/200
