ask Hostgator if they match this:

1. Linux/Unix like operating system
2. Zend optimizer
3. Mysql database (mysql version 4.0.x or 4.1.x)
4. Imagemagick (recommended)
5. PHP 4.2.3 or higher with:

a. Register globals ON
b. GD library version 2 or higher
c. Safemode OFF
d. Open Basedir restrictions OFF
e. Output Buffering OFF (recommended)
f. Display errors ON (recommended)
g. Max Memory Limit 64MB (recommended)
h. PHP CLI (php with command line interface)

6. SSH for cron setup


You can upload a phpinfo.php file to see if most of those requirements are met .

yes.. Hostgator have all of these specs.. the onlyone problem is the CHMOD... i cant put 777

yes, the onlyone problem is the chmod.. but i dont see how fix this :S

You need to set all the permissions to 755, the script will run then however you will need to change permissions back to 777 to do updates and vice versa, anyway set them to 755 and see how you go.
