Question about iphone and itouch

Are there any iphone and/or itouch experts out there? I just have a couple quick questions. I'd appreciate any help out there I can get as I've never even so much as touched an iphone my entire life

Is the resolution for an iphone movie the same as for the itouch?

Does anyone out there know of a good batch/bulk converter for Windows that will make regular movies compatible with both the iphone and/or itouch?
