According to a recent international study every 10 seconds 1 child dies. This means every day 9.589 children die because of a shortage of necessary food.

Too much young children and babies die because the world is not doing anything about it.

This recent news article seriously got my personal attention and I?m wondering why the 18+ adult industry doesn?t contribute/donate as a collective entity/force for a better world.

In other words, the worldwide annual revenues made in this industry in 2006 were estimated at 97 billion US dollars. If we could only reserve/donate a small % then we would already contribute and bring this popular business in a better spotlight.

I really would like to do something about this and I?m wondering if there are other people/companies on this board who feel the same way.

Maybe you are right, but i don't believe that most of the people on GFY think this way. This post is totally not to ask for money to give food or something.

It's more to see which programs/individuals are open minded to setup a collective charity platform.

The real reason for this post is because I?m doing some research to start a non-profit adult project (naughty4nature) from where around 80% from the generated revenues goes to supported charity organizations.

Not only to raise charity donations for the sad facts described in the beginning of this thread but also for disaster areas like what happened in New Orleans, the Tsunami area, new initiatives like ?OLPC, the one laptop per child foundation?, research organizations for cancer/aids, and much much more.

This non-profit adult website will be a charity based 18+ social community platform for members (wankers/fans), webmasters, affiliate programs, performers where generated revenues will be donated to charity programs. There will be even a webmaster program so promoting webmasters can monetize their traffic and get paid for it.

I?m just wondering if this kind of initiatives are being appreciated and supported by individuals/companies working in this industry to contribute for a better world.

The last 4 years I personally busted my balls with making complex platforms, making money and now I want to and have the liberty to invest my time and efforts into doing something positive for the world we are all living in.

Not for me but for our future grand children. We can?t give them a fucked up and polluted world where the quality of life is so bad there is no future for improvement.

If there are people/companies who support / contribute this kind of initiatives then I really would like to know it.
