Program to chat with customers

Rather than have them install or use ICQ I have seen a few sites that have a chat tool, where members or customers can chat with support. Paycom have one.

Can these programs be bought and if so where is best?

Alot of people I know use http://www.liveperson.com/

Not only can you chat with customers, they have a list of tools that show you where they came from to get to your site, what pages they clicked, where they left etc. Other softwares out there offer tracking, but from what I hear this is the one of the best in terms of a bundled solution.
