I knew something was terrible wrong given the fact that my site doesn't contain pop-ups... I went and too a look and... (drums) all my galleries on thunderfree had been canceled and he was routiung them to his 404 (as far as i could see).

Well most host Should give you a warning first and then Monitor your site to make sure you stay within the Rules At least thats what i do and how i treat my Webmasters.

Im not out for Canceling accounts just to make some Quick money on thier 404 Traffic Very Bad buisness Practice

as far as i know nobody deleted your account, webmasters received 2 warning e-mails 4 days ago to reupload their galleries due to a server change.

Hmmm - there might be a "reason".

A guy contacted me awhile ago, asking if he could make "a shit load of galleries" for my site. I was kinda new at the time and i approved the idear. So for the following months he has been making galleries to me every friday (40-60 each time) - he usually sends me 1 for approval and a list with the rest uploaded.

Well... i just had a closer look at one of the galleries, and it would seem that my "dear friend" has been uploading galleries with "movie-download-links" to other freehosts - does it make sense(?). I have no idear why he would do this - uploading clips to freehost XXX and uploading html to free host XXX (thunderfree).

I can however see that this is hurting the first freehost and i can understand why this isn't tolerated. For that im sorry!

I dont know if he got a warning or not but it still sucks to find your site full of 404.

The blame got to fall on me for letting "my friend" have free hands - im very sorry for the hard words.

wisdom is not here, but when he'll return will give the reason. I don't understand though how someone linked clips from other hosts,with freehosts it's impossible (unless terra etc) due to hotlinking protection...

Well there is a Way you Can Shell into a UNIX BOx and .tar.gz the WHole site and Move it all over within a Coouple minutes and the users will not have to reupload thier sites

it is Called Transfering the Proper UNIX tech can transfer a Freehost Pretty Quickly I should know When i Change servers People wont even notice it

guezz that just proves that you can't give people "free hands" and trust them....

Working with people you trust just makes things much easier and faster BUT I guess you have to know them VERY good.... and still thats not a guanratee!!
