We are proud to announce the Webmaster Summit Gathering in Toronto, Ontario, Canada April 18th-20th, 2003 at the Hotel Delta Chelsea.
The idea of the Webmaster Summit is to give webmasters in the Toronto area a place to get together and network in a structured setting.
Each day will provide informative seminars as well as something a little different: Great Debates. Each day (Saturday and Sunday), a debate will be held with key webmasters debating the pros and cons and controversial topics. The Great Debate Day 1 will feature a debate on Bulk Mail while The Great Debate day 2 will feature a debate on the pros and cons of Cross Selling/Cross Billing. More details will be available on the Webmaster Summit site as they become available.
In addition to seminars, there will be designated meeting areas, or Network Chambers. Rather than trapping a sponsor to a booth, we will be providing Network Chambers, which will be private meeting rooms set aside for sponsors to use to give information to or discuss business with potential and/or current affiliates.
What would a webmaster gathering be without parties? On Friday Evening, we will be holding a Welcome Party, featuring a live musical performance by Elvis Manson. This should be a fun, rowdy way to open the show, let loose, have a few drinks and kick it all off with a bang.
Saturday Evening will feature a trip to a strip club with the usual entertainment and gorgeous ladies. A complimentary bar and special entertainment will be the order of the night.
Sunday Evening, be prepared for war?Paintball Wars. The First Annual Webmaster Summit Paintball Wars will be held at Sgt. Splatter?s Paintball Arena. This will be a sure way to enjoy yourself and cover your friends and enemies with paint. A celebratory pizza party will follow so the winners can taunt the losers.
Attending the Webmaster Summit seminars, events and networking opportunities is free, but all webmasters MUST register in advance at the Webmaster Summit website located at http://www.webmastersummit.com. We also have an email list for those wishing to receive further updates, as we will be adding more events.
