nope.. domain owner has had it for 11 years and didn't do anything to develop it.. i'm managing it with a team i pulled together (and still adding to) ;)

For those taking a peek at the site.. it looks so plain-jane like craigslist.

At first, i was like most who see it, put some graphics and make it look slicker.. did that.. 3 different version from portal to porny...the more commercialized it looked, the worse the signups... when it went to simple like it is now, signups increased...

The lesson of the story is always evaluate and test your stated assumptions and understand what your surfers/customers want. By going more "porny", I was putting on what i think a swinger would want.. and after doing more market research and design variations, have come up with this (for now).

Another lesson.. tweak, change, modify.... squeeze every bit of potential conversion as possible. Right now, the site is not GBLT or international friendly.. making changes to target those groups will get an additional x%.... incremental changes can bring incremental increases in revenue, signups, participation, etc.

                  Fight the lessons learned!

thanks for posting.. i had saw that once before and totally forgot about it. Looks to be a little bit more stable then red5.. i'm gonna try it out.

You guys doing custom flash work? I want a simple customer service flash app that has the webcam and small box to type in, so that surfers to the site can be engaged as to what they are looking for, convince them to join,etc.. focusing on creating a personal experience for surfers.. rather than the cold-presentation of website that usually gives the appearance of just wanting their money.
