i've used a few seo plugins on my wordpress blogs in the past, but honestly i never noticed much of difference in traffic resulting from their use. i put up a good permalink structure, make sure backpages are well linked through the menus, and use a well seo'd theme, and everything seems to go well enough for me. do the sitemap plugins and so on really do that much to help int the end? what plugins do you use for wordpress to give that little extra boost?

It takes a while for a blog to get established and notice the traffic, but if you don't give up within a few months, it will pay off to have an All-In-One SEO Pack as the previous poster suggested. You can control meta tags of any page of your blog with that plug in. Very well worth the install
