I've stopped building new Campaigns with AdWords in 2004, I'm still making money from there, but I don't think that it's worth to start from scratch now. But in the end it only matters how you value your time, and if you have better options.
And you can only learn AdWords by Trial and Error (= loosing money) IMHOComment
