WOW. One of the best looking movies I have seen. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of Sin City, 300, graphic novels and digital animation. Awesome movie in my opinion. Mind you I viewed the movie in 3D so I cannot give my opinion on how the regular version will look. If you can see it in 3D it is definitely worth a go. A

If I had to guess I would say it had to made in 3D. It was unbelievable and the 3D animation was amazing. I have bored my co-workers with the story that I actually had to move out of the way of arrows coming at me, twice. lol

Zemeckis made it. that's all you need to know. He's re-pioneering the 3D viewing industry at the moment and it's supposed to look stunning. the way its done now, is they make a 2d movie first, then go back later and give it the 3d treatment. So it also stands on it's own as a traditional 2d flick.

You are very very wrong. I will be the first one to say that if this movie not been in 3D I would not have been so blown away. If you are not going to see it in 3D you are missing out big time. I wouldnt rent this movie EVER as it will never be able to compare to the 3D version.

I can't fucking believe what an amazing job these geniuses have done bridging the gap between live action and digital performance! I'd like to hear Zemeckis give a detailed explanation of exactly where this new technology takes over from Rotoscope. What I'd like to know exactly is how much of Angelina was actually there in those scenes that coaxed so rampaging an erection from me -- in a way Lara Croft never had.
