first - USD 4 is our _overusage_ fee indeed... USD 3 is the highest GB price we have, when you have the smallest virtual account. At bigger accounts or at dedicated or colocated solutions the GB price drops dramatically... you can check it out yourself...

second - you see the quality techie media provides you with for that $2 / GB... so what do you prefer? pay a little more and don't have to worry about problems such as downtime or stay with your cheap host and keep wondering why it's down all the time...

get real - true quality has its price...

It doesn't drop that much, I checked. As I can see, your price is ~$2.5/GB for 300 GB virtual plan and still $4 for overage. I can get 300 GB for $1.40/GB - $1.75/GB and overage at same price - and not only at TM. But you are OK for EU hosting, ping is great.
