Ok boilsoft seems to work for me with the HD's...
However the person thats working for me, whenever he tries to split any type of vid in BoilSoft on his machine, it freezes or gives him a error. He has tried reinstalling it and all, still same thing.

Do you know if there is any windows setting or something that may be conflicting with it?

          Appreciate the help.

Never had that myself. If it's with any type of video then I gues it's not a codec issue. Does he have the latest version? Is it the full version or trial? Trial versions often stop after 2 mins.

The version you bought and installed on your computer then gave to him to install on his computer? Or the version he bought for himself...
