    Virus question...

I got a nasty virus last night, but managed to get rid of it. The only thing left of it is that I can't change my wallpaper. When I got infected, it changed my wallpaper to a .gif with a hyperlink in it that if clicked on would take you to a ghost site where you entered all your info. Does anyone know how to fix it???
No matter what picture I select it says it can't find the .gif file. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

There are dozens of programs that kill shit like that. I always start with adaware. www.download.com

    Bump for more answers!

Yeah, I used AVG to get rid of it, but that's the only part that is left.

          try this :

          http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/p...php#hijackthis

Naturally, scan with AVG before executing

Hey thanks. I was thinking about running this, but I'm not a pro by any means when it comes to understanding it.

Just running Ad-Aware and it's finding a shit load of things. Well see how it turns out.
