No first hand knowledge, but if you want some second hand info....
had a friend of a friend do a little testing with it and the traffic he sent it had no problems using online checks & other methods...the difference he noticed was very insignificant...
but as I said, this is 2nd hand info, and I have no idea what site or type of traffic he was sending...
my guess is that for most it would be a significant drop in signups :/
If no one could take Visa I think you'd find the 70% drop was offset by other payment methods. If you are simply one person that cannot take Visa while everyone else can then I can definitely see the business taking a hit.
I agree with Kimmy on this one.
Even though many surfers have more than 1 credit card type or may be willing to pay by check, many, many would not.

I figured it would be quite a loss without visa. I am going to setup camp in the states and in the meantime just use the other cards while my visa form gets processed.
Visa is Probably the easiest credit card to get.
A lot of banks wont let their members have more than credit card unless they earn an obscene amount of money.
So I think Netbilling is right on this point.
Actually - I read in a local paper recently that a man worth 30 MILLION dollars was refused a credit card with a $1000 Limit - even though he already had numerous cards with over $25 000 limits and had been with the bank for over 50 years.
