Is anyone using a chat program on a site?

    Hey,

I'm trying to install a chat program on one of my sites. So far I haven't had much luck. I'm thinking of using something called digichat, it's Java Based, which I know will eat up some bandwidth, but I can make it stylistically match my site...and it's pretty much just an experiment.

Anyone else have any experience with this program...or any other web based chat programs.

    Yes we use Digichat 4.0 . chat.dreamnet.com

We use a dedicated server and it works fine. Very low maintenance. Their tech support is excellent.

Prior to using Digichat we used Volano.

The chatting doesn't use bandwidth all the java applet downloads would if it isn't nicely optimized.
