    DIVX Encoding

I've been trying to find optimal settings for DIVX encoding. Been playing around and reading through some of the DIVX encoding FAQS out there.

I've seen some amazing DIVX clips online and I'm trying to figure out exactly how encoders get such nice clips with such small file sizes.

Currently I'm use Premiere 6.5 and the full version of the 5.0.3 DIVX codec.

Are DIVX encoders doing something extra after the initial encoding process to make the files even smaller in size?

What FPS do most encoders use? 15? 29.97? 30?

Is there a good "standard" frame size that you use? Such as 480 x 360?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows other great tutorials I've love to look them over. Just trying to get great looking DIVX clips.
